Listening Excerpt: Please listen from the beginning until around 6:00 which is the ending of the first major formal section of the piece. If you wish to continue, 10:33 is another good place to stop.
Omaggio alla storia (2020)
for Piano, Percussion, and Live Electronics
Realization: 12 Loudspeakers, 4 Mics, Max/MSP, 32-Channel Mixer
Performance: Birdbrains Duo; February 18, 2020; Bilkent Concert Hall, Ankara
Listening Excerpt: Please listen to the first couple of minutes and then start from around 7:00 until the end. (Measure number: 92 - not to be confused with the scene number for the electronics which is 32 in the very same measure.) That way, you will have an overall idea about the piece's main sound materials and its stylistic diversity - as well as some of the quotations used. Also, since this is a binaural mix, I recommend listening with headphones.
